{SHORTDATE}
Hi {FIRSTNAME Travel Buyer} :
It's Larry from Stuart Cove's again.

Today I wanted to introduce you to our diving product line. As a world class dive resort, Stuart Cove's has everything to meet the needs and expectations of novice and experienced divers.

However, many product managers in the travel industry are not divers.  Historically, when tour operators see the words "certification required" it makes them back off a bit. However, diving isn't like that today. Read below, and find out how easy it can be to sell diving.

DIVE TODAY!

That's right.... even if you have never gone diving before - you can complete your first dive in the ocean TODAY!

Diving is a sport just like sky diving, piloting a plane, or whitewater rafting that does require some instruction and knowledge.

However, scuba diving is just like these other sports in another way as well - detailed training and knowledge are only required if you are wanting to participate in that sport on your own.

Anyone can DIVE TODAY if they use a trained professional as their guide. That's what the Resort Course at Stuart Cove's is all about. When your clients are involved in an instructor supervised program, such as our Resort Course, they receive instruction on the basic skills required for diving. Then when they go on their first dives - their instructor is present and supervising the dive to ensure the safety of the diver. Resort diving is not limited to just a one day introductory experience. People can continue their resort experience for as many days as they desire! Once they have completed the academic and pool intro - it does not have to be repeated again during their trip. At Stuart Cove's, we have over 20 different dive sites that Resort Divers can visit!
Adventures for Certified Divers

Our large dive facility offers certified divers a world class experience. These are just a few of the dives that they can do:

  • Wall Diving - our facility is located 5 minutes away from the Tongue-of-the-Ocean trench.  Just imagine the Grand Canyon underwater, and you will have a picture of what divers can experience when they go Wall Diving at Stuart Cove's.

  • Wreck Diving - The government and private sector have been working closely for the past seven years to create some great artificial reefs. Today there are 15 different shipwrecks on the southwest side of New Providence island alone that divers can visit.
  • Reef Diving - Our shallow reefs are beautiful with many fish swimming around them. These are great sites where novice and Resort divers can begin experiencing the underwater world!

  • Underwater Movie Sets - The southwest side of New Providence Island is famous in Hollywood circles as it has been used for location shoots for many feature films including 3 different James Bond films, Splash, Cacoon, Speed 2, Flipper, Deep Blue Sea, and Spy Kids!

  • Shark Diving - Divers come to The Bahamas from around the world to experience diving with sharks up close!  For non-divers reading this, rest assured that diving with sharks is extremely safe when done with professional shark feeding outfits such as Stuart Cove's.

  • Wall Flying - imagine flying through the underwater world on an underwater scooter just like you've seen in the movies or with undersea explorers. At Stuart Cove's we have a fleet of them dedicated to this experience.

Why Sell Diving?

Simply put - it's profitable. The average certified diver comes from an upper income bracket with a median income of over $75,000. When divers purchase diving for a vacation - they do not purchase just one dive trip. Instead, they purchase multiple days of diving. At Stuart Cove's, the average dive package sold for a certified diver is $280 per person for a short 2-dive day stay! And that's before you add the hotel and air.
